How to use the Background Remover tool to delete the background from images.

Use Photoroom's Background Remover to automatically remove the background from any image.

Image shows a photo with a background and the same photo with the background removed.

How it works:

  1. You access the Background Remover tool.

  2. You upload an image. On iOS and Android, you also have the option to choose an existing image or generate an image using AI.

  3. Photoroom removes the background.

  4. On iOS and Android, choose a template or another AI tool to continue working with the image.

  5. Use the AI tool or editor to make further changes and to download and save the image.

Note: Many Photoroom tools automatically remove the background as part of the workflow.
