Duplicate a layer (Android)

Duplicate a layer to create a copy you can reposition or edit independently. This is a good time-saver when your design already has layers that you can reuse or repurpose.

Before and after. Image 1 has a single background stripe layer. Image 2 has 2 background stripe layers,  one is a duplicate.

On Android

To duplicate a layer:

  1. Select the Space you want to work in.

  2. Select Content.

  3. Select the design you want to edit.

  4. Select Layers.

  5. Select the layer you want to copy.

  6. Select the context menu ( ... ) for the layer and then select Duplicate.
    Photoroom adds another version of the layer to your design.

  7. [Optional] Position and edit the duplicate layer.

  8. [Optional] Use the editor settings to make further changes, such as add text or graphics.

  9. Select Export to store your design in Photoroom and download it as an image file. There are also options for sharing your design.
