After editing your product images in Photoroom, publish the changes to your Shopify store to keep your listings up-to-date. Your store will only update after you publish the changes.
Before you publish
This article assumes you have already connected Photoroom to your Shopify store and made edits to a product in your Product Catalog.
You can only publish updates if:
You are an Admin of the Space
There are product image updates available
The Space has a Max or Ultra subscription. Publishing to Shopify is not supported on lower plans.
Steps: Publish updates for one product
To publish updates to a single product:
Select the product you want to update.
Tip: Products that have updates available have a red circle in the corner.
Select Publish.
Photoroom publishes the updates to Shopify.
Steps: Publish all updates
To publish all updates for all products to Shopify:
Select Publish edits.
Check the boxes for the edits you want to publish.
Select Publish edits.
Troubleshooting
To publish successfully, Photoroom and Shopify must both be running normally, and you need a stable internet connection.
Other issues you may experience:
"Publish" or "Publish edits" is not available
These options are only available if there are products with updates waiting to be sent to Shopify.
Publishing cannot complete
This can happen if Photoroom cannot match the edits to products in Shopify. This may be the result of a product being deleted in Shopify, but it still has edits waiting in Photoroom.
Select Stop or Publish later to abort the publishing and then clear your browser's cache (search online for instructions). After clearing the cache, Photoroom should forget the edits for the deleted product.
If you continue to experience problems when publishing, please contact support.
