Add images to a Shopify product listing (Web App)

How to add additional images to a product listing in your Product Catalog. Web App.

With the Add images feature, you can add pictures to your Shopify product listings from Photoroom. You can add:

  • Images that you upload

  • AI-generated images you have created in Photoroom

  • Designs that you have saved to the Space in Photoroom

  • Images from your other Shopify product listings.

Note: You can also use AI tools to generate images while in your product catalog. For instructions, see Add AI-generated images to a Shopify listing (Web App).

Steps (Web App)

To add images to a product listing:

  1. Open your Product Catalog and select the product you want to edit.

  2. Select Add images.

  3. Use one of the tabs to find and add an image:
    ​

    • All
      Use to upload a new image file or choose one or more images across all categories.
      ​

    • Uploads
      Use to upload a new image file or choose one or more images that have already been uploaded.
      ​

    • Shopify products
      Use to add an image that has already been added to a different product listing. Select the product listing and choose the image. You can also use the Search to find product images by name.
      ​

    • AI images
      Choose one or more AI-generated images. These are all images that have been generated in the Space using Photoroom's AI tools. Use the filter buttons at the top to filter by AI tool.
      ​

    • Designs
      Choose one or more images that are saved as designs in the Space.
      ​
      ​

  4. Select Add to listing.
    Photoroom adds the images to your product listing.
    ​

  5. [Optional] Use the Product Catalog Editor to make additional changes.

When you have finished editing, add SEO filenames and alt text. Then publish the updates to Shopify to update your store (Max and Ultra plans only).
