Photoroom's Light On feature lets you apply a studio-light effect to the foreground layers of batch images. It adds an even, bright light that can lift an otherwise dull layer.
Note: An alternative way to lighten dull images is to use the Brightness setting. Brightness gives you more control over the amount of light that's added.
Steps (Web App)
To use Light On on a batch image:
Create a new batch or use an existing batch.
Select a foreground layer on an image.
Use the Light On option on the layer's pill menu. It is shown as a light bulb icon.
Light On works as a toggle, so select it to turn it on or off.
To apply the Light On effect to more images in the batch, you can:
Use the Apply to all option on the image tile pill menu. For details, see Apply edits to all images in a batch (Web App).
Use Copy/Paste edit to apply the effect to a selection of images. For details, see Copy edits to other batch images (Web App).
Change the Light On setting on each image manually (this takes longer).
[Optional] Use the Batch Editor to make further changes.
When you have finished editing, download your batch images.
