Resize an AI image (Android)

How to use Resize to change the size of an image generated by one of Photoroom's AI tools. Android.

When you have used one of Photoroom's AI tools to generate an image, you can choose to resize that image.

The Resize option lets you choose:

  • A different canvas size

  • How you want the image to fit on the canvas.

For example, you could resize a portrait image so that it becomes a landscape image.


Availability

Web App and Android

For the Web App, see Resize an AI image (Web App).

On iOS, select the image you want and then choose Use this image to open it in the main editor. Use the main editor to resize the image.


Steps (Android)

To resize an AI image:

  1. Select the Space you want to work in.

  2. Select AI tools.

  3. Select the AI tool you want to use, for example, Virtual Model.

  4. Either:

    • Use the AI tool to generate a new image.

    • Use an existing AI image.

  5. Select the image.

  6. Swipe the menu options and select Resize.

  7. Choose a preset size or select Custom dimensions and enter the Width and Height.

    Photoroom automatically resizes the image and uses AI to fill the canvas.

  8. [Optional] Select Variations to generate alternative versions of the image on the new canvas size. Select the image you want to use.

  9. Select Done.
    Photoroom opens the design in the main editor, where you can make further changes such as adding text or graphics.

  10. Select Export to save and download your design.

  11. Select X or Close design to exit.
