Use Photoroom's Retouch tool to remove objects from photos. It works like an eraser:
You "paint" over the object you want to remove
Photoroom erases it and blends the background so it looks like the object was never there.
Note: Retouch is available as a dedicated standalone tool (for new designs) and as a feature within the editor (for existing designs). In this article, we describe the standalone Retouch tool.

Steps
To use Retouch to erase, there are two stages:
Access Retouch.
There are two ways to access it:
Use the standalone Retouch tool (requires you to upload an image)
Open a design in the editor and use Retouch in the layer settings (for editing new or existing designs)
Use the Retouch settings to erase.

Access the Retouch tool
To use the standalone Retouch tool to remove objects from a photo:
Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select AI tools.
Select Retouch.
Upload the image you want to edit.
Next: Use Retouch to erase (see the section below).
Access Retouch in the editor
To access Retouch while editing a new or existing design:
Log in at app.photoroom.com.
Select the Space you want to work in.
Create a new design and open it in the editor.
Alternatively, select Designs and select an existing design to edit.
Select a foreground layer.
Select Retouch.

Use Retouch to erase
When you have opened the Retouch feature:
Use the slider to set the brush size.
Tip: Choose a brush size that will let you paint over the object you want to erase without painting over other objects.
Paint over the object you want to erase.
Photoroom may shrink the object or only partially remove it rather than erasing it completely. If this happens, keep painting over it until it's gone.
When you are happy with the image, select Confirm.
Photoroom opens the image as a design in the editor.
[Optional] Use the editor to make further changes, such as adding text or graphics.
[Optional] Select Download to save the image to your device.
Select Home to exit the editor. The image is saved as a design automatically.
