If you are experiencing problems when using Retouch, this article may help. It covers some of the most common problems, with tips on how to solve them.

Retouch only partially erased an object

If you have used Retouch and the erased object is still visible or partially visible, there are two likely scenarios:

  • Object partially removed while using Retouch

If you are using Retouch and it only partially removes an object, keep painting over the object. Sometimes it takes several attempts to completely remove the object.

  • Object completely removed using Retouch, but parts of it are still on design

In some cases, an object can look completely erased while using Retouch, but parts of it reappear when you return to the design. This usually creates a "ghost" effect of the object.

In the editor, select the other layers to see if they also contain parts of the object. If they do, use Retouch on those layers as well.
