Remove wrinkles and creases from product photos with Photoroom for Shopify's Ironing feature. It smooths out clothing images so they have less creases, while still looking realistic. Ideal for making clothing photos look more appealing.
Availability
Pro users can use Ironing on individual product images.
Max and Ultra users can use Ironing on multiple product images at once.
Product Catalog requires a Max or Ultra plan to export and publish.
Each generation uses AI credits.
This article explains how to use Ironing in the Product catalog on the iOS version of Photoroom. For other platforms, see:
Steps (iOS)
To iron product images for Shopify:
(Video edited to show shorter AI generation times).
Select AI Tools.
Important: Make sure you select AI Tools > Ironing from inside Photoroom for Shopify. If you're outside Photoroom for Shopify, the standalone Ironing tool will open instead.
Select Ironing.
Select the product images that need wrinkles and creases removing.
Select the arrow button to generate.
Photoroom generates a new ironed image.
[Optional] Delete the old wrinkled image:
Long-press on the image.
Select Delete.
[Optional] Select an image to open it in the main editor. Alternatively, long-press on the image and select Edit.
Use the main editor to make additional changes, such as add text and graphics. When you have finished, select X to return to the product listing and choose whether to apply the changes to all of the product images.

Note: If you long press on a product image, a context menu appears with options for opening editing, deleting, duplicating, and exporting the image. There is also an option to save the image as a template.
