You can replace the background of a design with a new AI-generated background. There are suggested AI-backgrounds based on what is in your image or you can enter a prompt of your own and describe what you want the AI to create.
On iPhone and iPad
To replace a background with a new AI background:

On the Create page, select Your Content and then select the design you want to edit.
[Optional] Select Resize and choose the size and orientation for your design.
Select Backgrounds.
Select AI Backgrounds.
Either:
Search for a background by entering a description in the search field at the top.
Choose an AI Background from the various categories.
Select Create a background, enter a custom prompt, and select Generate images. To learn about custom prompts, see Create your own AI Backgrounds with custom prompts.
When you select a background, Photoroom generates 4 images. You can either select one of those or select Generate 4 more to create some more.
Select the AI Background that you want to use.
[Optional] Use the editing settings to make further changes to your design.
Select Export. Use the export options to save or share your design. Photoroom also auto-saves it to Your Designs.
Select Done.
On Android
To replace a background with a new AI background:

Select Designs and choose the design you want to edit.
[Optional] Select Resize and choose the size and orientation for your design.
Select AI Backgrounds.
Either:
Search for a background by entering a description in the search field at the top.
Choose an AI Background from the various categories.
