Use brand kit content in your design

Learn how to use brand kit content, including logos, in your designs

When you have added logos, brand colors, cutouts and more to your brand kit, you can use them in your designs.

In the following sections, we show you how to use some of the different types of brand kit content. For details on using brand kit fonts, see Use brand kit fonts in your design.

On iPhone and iPad

To use brand kit content in your designs on the iPhone and iPad version of Photoroom:

  1. On the Create page, select Content.

  2. Select the workspace you want to work in.

  3. Select the design you want to work on.

    Alternatively, you can create a new design and edit that instead. For instructions, see Create your first Photoroom design.

  4. Add content from your brand kit:

    • Backgrounds
      Select Background and then choose the background from the Brand selection.

    • Logos
      Select Insert and scroll to the Brand. Select the logo from the Logos.

    • Cutouts
      Select Insert and scroll to the Brand. Select the logo from the Cutouts.

    • Text layers
      Select Insert and scroll to the Brand. Select the text from the Text Layers.

  5. To use colors from your brand kit:

    1. Edit a layer that has color settings, such as a graphic layer.

    2. Select a color from the Brand color palette.

  6. To use fonts from your brand kit:

    1. Add text to a design or select text that already exists on the design.

    2. Select Font. Your brand kit fonts are shown at the top of the list, above the other available fonts.

  7. [Optional] Select Export and use the export options to save a copy of your design and share it with others.

  8. Navigate away from the editor to save your design.


On Android

To use brand kit content in your designs on the Android version of Photoroom:

  1. On the Create page, select Content.

  2. Select the workspace you want to work in.

  3. Select the design you want to work on.

    Alternatively, you can create a new design and edit that instead. For instructions, see Create your first Photoroom design.

  4. Add content from your brand kit:

    • Logos
      Select Insert and scroll to the Brand. Select the logo.

    • Cutouts
      Select Insert and scroll to the Brand. Select the cutout.

    • Text layers
      Select Insert and scroll to the Brand. Select the text layer.

  5. To use colors from your brand kit:

    1. Edit a layer that has color settings, such as a graphic layer.

    2. Select a color from the Brand color palette.

  6. To use fonts from your brand kit:

    1. Add text to a design or select text that already exists on the design.

    2. Select Font. Your brand kit fonts are shown at the top of the list, above the other available fonts.

  7. [Optional] Select Export and use the export options to save a copy of your design and share it with others.

  8. Navigate away from the editor to save your design.


On Web App

To use brand kit content in your designs on the web app (desktop) version of Photoroom:

  1. Log in to Photoroom at app.photoroom.com.

  2. Select the workspace you want to work in.

  3. Select the design you want to work on.

    Alternatively, you can create a new design and edit that instead. For instructions, see Create your first Photoroom design.

  4. Select Brand kit to display the brand kit sidebar.

  5. Add content from your brand kit:

    • Logos
      Select a logo from the Logos section. You can also upload a logo file to the brand kit, if needed.

    • Cutouts
      Select a cutout from the Cutouts section.

    • Text layers
      Select text from the Text layers section.

    • Backgrounds
      Select a background layer from the Backgrounds section.

  6. To use colors from your brand kit:

    1. Edit a layer that has color settings, such as a graphic layer.

    2. Select a color from the Brand color palette.

  7. To use fonts from your brand kit:

    1. Add text to a design or select text that already exists on the design.

    2. Select the font.

    3. Select All fonts and then select your brand kit.

    4. Select a font from your brand kit.

  8. [Optional] Select Download to download your design as an image file in the browser. Enter a name for the file and choose the file type and then select Download.

  9. Select Home to exit the editor and save your design.
