Photoroom has default settings for AI Backgrounds, including object size, canvas size, and AI model. Once configured, these defaults are applied automatically, saving you time if you often use the same settings.

AI Backgrounds Preferences settings on Android. There are options for object size, size, and AI backgrounds version.

You can set a default size for:

  • The canvas area (the size of the AI Background and your image)

  • The amount of space the main object of the image uses. This is a percentage of the available space.

  • The AI model that Photoroom uses for generating AI Backgrounds.

The AI Background preferences are currently only available on the mobile versions of Photoroom (iPhone, iPad, Android).

On iPhone and iPad
