Photoroom automatically stores a record of every image that is generated using the AI Images features. So if Photoroom generates several AI images that you like, you can use one now and then get the other image(s) later from your AI Images history.
For example, let's say Photoroom generates 4 AI images, and you choose one to work with:
The other generated images are stored in your AI History, so you can use them later, by selecting them from the Recent history.
Photoroom keeps two types of history:
A "global" list of all AI Images that have been created using any of the AI Image tools, such as Logo, Product photography, Instagram story, and so on. We call these tools "mini-tools".
Individual lists for each type of mini-tool. For example, Product photography has a history of only the Product photography AI images.
On iPhone and iPad
There are two ways to use Recent AI Images:
From the Recent section
From the history of the AI Images mini-tool.
Each mini-tool is for creating a different type of AI Image, for example, there are mini-tools for logos, backgrounds, product photos and more.
Note: On iPhone and iPad, Photoroom stores up to 50 AI Images in the global (recent) history and the mini-tool history. When the limit of 50 is reached, Photoroom removes the oldest image in the history to make room for the newest.
Use an AI Image from the Recent section
On the Create page, select the See more link to display the AI Images page. At the top, there is a Recent section that shows the AI Images in your recent history. Swipe left and right to browse the AI Images or select See All to see them on a separate page.
Select an AI Image from your recent history.
Use Remove background to keep or remove the background and then select Use image. Photoroom opens the image in the editor as a new design.
[Optional] Use the editor to make changes to the design and export and share it, as required. For more details, see Introduction to editing in Photoroom.
Navigate back to the Create page.
Use an AI Image from the AI mini-tool history
Each AI Images mini-tool has its own history that keeps a record of images generated by that particular mini-tool. In this case, we are using the Product packaging mini tool as an example. The same process applies to other types of AI Images mini tool, such as Logo and Product photography.
On the Create page, look in the Create images with AI section and select the mini-tool that you want to use, such as Product packaging.
If you don't see the mini-tool you want, select the See more link to display a full list of mini-tools.

On Web App
There are two ways to use Recent AI Images:
From the Recent Images history. This is a record of all AI Images and includes images generated by all of the mini-tools.
From the history of an AI Images mini-tool.
This is a record of the AI Images that were generated with a selected mini-tool. For example, if you select Logos, the history will only show AI Images that were created using the Logo mini-tool.
Note: On the Web App, Photoroom stores up to 100 AI Images in the global (recent) history and the mini-tool history. When the limit of 100 is reached, Photoroom removes the oldest image in the history to make room for the newest.
