Images appear blurry or pixelated

Learn how image size and resolution can cause your images to appear blurry or pixelated

If your Photoroom exports appear blurry or pixelated, it could be because:

  • The size of the design is small and when you view it on a larger screen, it is "stretched" to fill the space. To fix, try resizing your design.

  • The design is actually high resolution but you have imported low resolution images and added them to the design. This becomes especially obvious if some parts of your image are sharp, but others are blurred.

Photoroom does not upscale images during import, so low resolution images remain low resolution, even if you add them to high resolution designs. To fix this, import high resolution versions of the images instead.

• You have used either a blur effect on a layer or a blur effect on a background!
