Show your products in realistic scenes with Photoroom's Product Staging feature. It's designed for turning a regular photo of a product into an image that shows the product being used.
In this article, we explain how to use Product Staging on the Android version of Photoroom. If you're using the iOS or Web App version, see these articles instead:

On Android
To use Product Staging to show a product in a realistic scene:

As there are many features you can use with Product Staging, we have split the instructions into stages.
Stage 1: Create a Product Staging image
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select AI Tools.
Select Product Staging.
If you don't see Product Staging, select See more to view all tools.
Upload a product photo.
Use Size to choose the dimensions you want.
Select the arrow button to generate 2 images.
Either:
Use of the generated images. (You will get an opportunity to make further changes).
Use the prompt field to describe what you want to see in the image. Use the arrow button to generate new images.
Select the arrow button to generate more.
Note: Remember each generation costs AI credits.
Stage 2: Refine the image [optional]
If an image is close to what you want, but needs changes:
Select the context menu for the image you want to use.
Select Edit with AI.
Describe the changes you want in the prompt field. For example, "Close-up of the product".
Select the arrow button to generate an updated image.
Other actions:
You can also perform these actions from the context menu:
Other angles – generate product images from different viewpoints
Delete – Remove the image.
Stage 3: Final edits and save
When you're happy with an image:
Select the image.
[Optional] Use the prompt field to describe further changes and then select the arrow button to generate.
[Optional] Select Open in editor to open the design in the main editor.
Background removal starts automatically.
If removal completes, your product appears on its own layer.
If you select Skip background removal, the image stays on a single layer.
[Optional] Use the main editor to add text, color, lighting effects, etc. To learn about the editing features, see the articles in Features and Tools.
Select Save (or Export in the main editor) to download the design as an image file.
Select Done or the back arrow to save and exit.
