You can make a copy of a batch image in two ways: Duplicate, or Copy and Paste.
Duplicate creates the copy in a single action. When you select Duplicate, Photoroom adds the copy to your batch immediately.
Copy and Paste lets you choose when the copy is created. Copy saves a snapshot of the image to your device's clipboard. Paste creates a new batch image from that snapshot.
If you copy an image, make more edits, and then paste, the new image shows the image as it was when you copied it. It does not include the later edits.
Steps (Web App)
When you have decided whether you are going to use Duplicate or Copy and Paste, follow the instructions in the relevant section below.
Duplicate images
To use Duplicate to create copies of batch images:
Select the images you want to duplicate.
For information on selecting images, see How to select images using the Batch feature (Web App).
Select the background layer of any of the selected images to display a pill menu.
Select the More actions icon ( ... ).
Select Duplicate.
Photoroom immediately creates new versions of the selected images and adds them to the grid in the Batch Editor.
[Optional] Use the Batch Editor to make further changes, such as adding text layers or generating AI images. For details, see How to edit a batch of images - workflow (Web App).
When you have finished editing, download your batch images.
Copy and Paste images
To use Copy and Paste to create copies of batch images:
Select the images you want to copy.
For information on selecting images, see How to select images using the Batch feature (Web App).
Right-click on any of the images to display a context menu.
Select Copy.
Photoroom copies the selected images to your device's clipboard.
When you are ready to create the copy, right-click on the background of the editor to display the context menu and select Paste.

When you have finished editing, download your batch images.
