Fine-tune where your product sits in the image and how much space surrounds it to create a balanced design.
Note: This article assumes you have already connected Photoroom to your Shopify store.
Steps (Web App)
To change the positioning and padding of Product Catalog images:
Open your Product Catalog and select the product you want to edit.
Select the images you want to edit.
To learn about selecting images, see How to select images using the Product Catalog Editor.
Select Position.
Select the positioning:
Original to reset the position and padding.
Center to position the product centrally. Use the settings to control the padding:
Padding - sets space between the product and the edge of the design.
Ignore padding on cropped sides - check to remove padding if the image touches the edges. Clear to always apply padding.
Custom to set your own position padding:
Padding left, right, top, bottom - change spacing on each side.
Align - choose the image position.
Scale - choose the image size (only if Ignore padding on cropped sides if off):
Fit - fits the image without cropping
Fill - fills the space but may crop the image.
[Optional] Make additional changes using the Product Catalog Editor.
When you have finished editing, publish your changes to Shopify.
Tip: If the product appears misaligned, try turning Ignore padding on cropped sides off.
