How to connect Photoroom to your Shopify store. iOS.

This article explains how to connect the iOS version of Photoroom to your Shopify store. When the connection is set up, you can Photoroom to:

  • Add product images to Shopify listings

  • Edit hundreds of Shopify product images at once

  • Publish edited photos to live or draft listings.

Note: The app is safe to install and will not affect impact load times or performance.

Availability

  • Available on all platforms

  • Available on all plans, but with limitations

  • You can only connect a Space to Shopify if you are an Admin for that Space.

  • Exporting, downloading, and publishing is only available on Max and Ultra plans.

Steps (iOS)

To connect Photoroom to your Shopify store:

  1. Log in to Shopify and Photoroom on your iOS device.

  2. In Photoroom, select the Space you want to connect to Shopify.

    ​Note: To connect to Shopify, you need to be an Admin for the Space.
    ​

  3. Select Products.

  4. Select the Connect to Shopify.

  5. Select Install to install the Photoroom AI Listing Assistant app.

    The app is safe to install and does not affect store load times or performance.
    ​

  6. Select either:
    ​

    • Create a Shopify account.
      Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account.
      ​

    • Log in to an existing account.
      Select the account you want to use.
      ​

  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the set up. You may need to update the data access to allow Photoroom to connect to Shopify.

Photoroom will install the app, connect to Shopify, and sync with your Shopify store. It imports your products, identifies variants, and performs brand and product shot analysis automatically.

When Photoroom is finished, you will see your products shown on the Products screen.

​Problems connecting your store?

During installation, Photoroom syncs with your Shopify store and imports your product images. For the sync to succeed, make sure that:

  • Your iOS device is connected to the internet and has a stable connection

  • You can log in to your Photoroom account and your Shopify account.

  • You are using the correct Shopify account when you set up the Photoroom-Shopify connection.
