Connect Photoroom to your Shopify store (iOS)

How to connect Photoroom to your Shopify store so that you can use Photoroom's Product Catalog. iOS.

This article explains how to connect the iOS version of Photoroom to your Shopify store. When the connection is set up, you can use Product Catalog to:

  • Add product images

  • Edit hundreds of product images at once

  • Publish edited photos to live listings.

Note: The app is safe to install and will not affect impact load times or performance.

Availability

Product Catalog is available on all plans but exporting, downloading and publishing is only available on Max and Ultra.


Steps (iOS)

To connect Photoroom to your Shopify store:

  1. Log in to Shopify and Photoroom on your iOS device.

  2. In Photoroom, select the Space you want to connect to Shopify.

    Note:

    • To connect to Shopify, you need to be an Admin for the Space.

    • Product Catalog is available on all plans, but downloading, exporting and publishing to Shopify requires a Max or Ultra Space.

  3. Select Content.

  4. Select the Connect your Shopify store option in the Shopify Products section.

  5. Enter your Shopify store domain.

    The Shopify store domain needs to be the original domain for your store. It ends with myshopify.com. If you use a custom domain, you can find the original URL in Domains in Shopify (see the Shopify documentation).

    Example: The Shopify store's URL is prcw-merch.myshopify.com, so we enter prcw-merch in the field:

  6. Select Install app.

    The app is safe to install and does not affect store load times or performance.

  7. Select the Space to connect to your Shopify store.


    Photoroom installs the app that allows it to connect to and sync with your Shopify store.

    During installation, Photoroom syncs with your Shopify store and imports your product images. For the sync to succeed, you need:

    • A stable internet connection

    • The correct store name in the Shopify store domain field

    • Shopify and Photoroom services running normally.

​Problems connecting your store?

The most common reason for connection problems is entering an incorrect store domain URL. Double-check that you have entered the correct store domain.
