Change a product title or description (Web App)

How to change the title or description of a product that's already been added. Web App.

You can change the Title, Description, and SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) of any product listing in your Product Catalog. You can update these manually or use Generate to let AI create a suggested title and description for you.

Steps (Web App)

To edit a product listing title, description, or SKU:

Note: This article assumes you have already connected Photoroom to your Shopify store.

  1. Open your Product Catalog and select the product you want to edit.

  2. Select Title & description in the Shopify sidebar.
    ​
    ​Note: If the Shopify sidebar is not visible, select Shopify to open it.
    ​

  3. You now have several options:
    ​

    • Enter a Title and Description manually

    • Select Generate under Title to use an AI-generated title

    • Select Generate under Description to use an AI-generated description

    • Select Generate all to create both automatically in one click.
      ​

  4. [Optional] Enter an SKU manually.

  5. When you are done, publish your changes to Shopify.

Using AI to generate product text does not cost AI credits.

Tip: To improve performance in search results, make sure your title and description include relevant keywords that accurately describe your product.
