Every Photoroom plan includes a set amount of exports for use with Batch. The pool of exports is shared across a Space.
In this article, we’ll explain how the Batch export count works and what is included with each plan. We also answer some common questions and explain how to track usage.
How Batch export count works
Each Space has a limited number of Batch exports per month/week. Whenever you or someone in your Space uses Batch to export images, it counts towards this limit.
You are granted a total number of images you can export using Batch.
You can edit up to 250 images per batch across all platforms.
Export quotas are reset monthly (or weekly for weekly plans).
Note: If you use AI features in Batch edits, they cost AI credits. These are automatically deducted from your Space’s AI credits.
What is the Batch export limit for each plan?
This table shows the Batch export limits for each plan.
Plan duration | Limit reset | Free | Pro | Max | Ultra | Ultra | Ultra | Ultra |
Weekly | Weekly | 0 | 125 | 400 | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A |
Monthly | Monthly | 0 | 500 | 1,500 | 5,000 | 10,000 | 25,000 | 50,000 |
Yearly | Monthly | 0 | 500 | 1,500 | 5,000 | 10,000 | 25,000 | 50,000 |
Important: Units are counted per image, not per batch. 1 unit = 1 image processed. For example, if a batch contains 10 images, processing that batch will use 10 units.
What happens if you hit the Batch export limit?
You can upgrade your subscription any time. Higher plans have larger export limits.

As a Batch user, will I also use AI credits?

If you use AI features inside Batch, each generation will use AI credits.
If you only use Batch to remove backgrounds or edit manually, you will not use AI credits.
This separation keeps things transparent: you only use AI credits when you’re actually generating new content with AI.
