Use Photoroom's Product Photography tool to generate realistic product photos from a prompt.
How it works:
You enter a prompt to describe the image you want Photoroom to create.
You use the settings to choose your preferences for size and style.
Photoroom generates an image based on your prompt and choices.
You can then use the generated image as is or you can make further changes using AI tools or in the main editor.
For step-by-step instructions, see Workflows in Related content (below).

Settings for Product Photography
When you access the Product Photography tool, use the following settings to guide Photoroom.
Size (aspect ratio)
Style
Prompt
Aspect ratio
This is sometimes labeled as Size. Use it to set the aspect ratio (shape) of the image, see Set the Aspect Ratio of AI images.
Style
The Style setting tells Photoroom what creative style to use when generating your image. There are many different styles to choose from, including Professional photography, High contrast photography, and Polaroid-type shots.
The styles are:
Random
No fixed look. Each image comes out in a deliberately different style.
Professional
Clean, commercial/studio look. Sharp focus with soft, even lighting, and minimalist background.
Cinematic
Movie-still feel, with dramatic shadows, deep colors, bright highlights, and subtle film grain and blurred background.
Muted
Soft, slightly faded pastel look with low contrast and natural lighting.
High contrast
Deep blacks, bright highlights, strong shadows.
Vintage analog
Warm retro-photography look with subtle grain and vignetting around the edges.
Polaroid
Instant-camera style image. Square format, overexposed with washed out warm colors and a white frame border.
Editorial
High-end magazine/fashion look with retouching, rich colors, and studio lighting.
Black and white
Monochrome with crisp detail.
Film noir
High contrast black and white with moody lighting and deep shadows.
Raw Flash
Snapshot in the stye of a 1990s disposable camera. Harsh direct flash, amateur look and feel.
Prompt
Use the prompt field to describe what you want to see in the image, for example, "A modern, minimalist armchair. It is light gray with pale blue cushions and wooden base. It is in a modern living room with natural light flooding in from a patio door."
For tips on writing prompts, see Write more effective prompts for AI.
After generating an image
When you have generated an image you are happy with, you can:
Use the image's context menu options to make further changes or download the image.
Select the image to review and edit it further.
The context menu settings are common to most AI tools. You can learn about them in Context menu options for AI tools.
The review and edit options are common to most standalone AI tools and you can learn about them in Review and edit an AI image.
