How to use the standalone Resize tool to upload an image and resize it in Photoroom. Android.

Photoroom has a standalone Resize tool that lets you:

  • Upload an image to resize

  • Change its size (aspect ratio)

  • Reposition the image on the canvas and have Photoroom automatically adjust the image to fit

  • Download the image and save it to Photoroom as a design.

In this article, we provide step-by-step instructions for using the standalone Resize tool in the Android version of Photoroom. For information about using the Resize option while editing an image, see the articles in the Related Content section at the end.


Availability

  • Available on all platforms and plans

  • Does not use AI credits.


Steps (Android)

To use the standalone Resize tool to resize an image:

  1. Select the Space you want to work in.

  2. Select AI tools.

  3. Select Resize.

  4. Upload the image you want to resize.

  5. Use the Resize settings to choose a canvas size. When the image is generated, use drag and pinch gestures to reposition and magnify the image [optional].

  6. [Optional] Select Variations to generate alternative versions.

  7. Select Done to open the image in the editor.

  8. [Optional] Use the editor to make further changes, such as add a logo or add text to the image.

  9. Select Export to save your image as a design in Photoroom. You can also save it to your device or share it.
