Use Resize in the Shopify Products editor to change the dimensions of your product images. It's a quick way to make your images meet store theme requirements and to standardize your catalog for a professional look.
Availability
Photoroom for Shopify must be connected to your Shopify store.
Publishing to Shopify requires a Max or Ultra subscription.
Resize is a free utility. Does not require AI credits.
Steps (Android)
To resize product images for Shopify:
Select Resize.
Choose a preset size or select Custom size and enter a Width and Height.
Tell Photoroom how to handle any transparent space with the new canvas size:
Expand with AI
Photoroom's AI will add to your image so that it fills the canvas.
Fill image
Photoroom resizes your image to fill the canvas. It may crop your image to make it fit the new size.
Fit image
Photoroom resizes your image to fit on the canvas. It will leave any transparent space around the edges in place.
Select Apply to images.
Photoroom resizes all of the images for the product listing.
[Optional] Make additional changes using the Shopify Products editor.
After resizing, it is often useful to fine-tune the Position settings and also change the Backgrounds to fit the new size.
When you have finished editing, publish your changes to Shopify.
