Use the Position settings to control the position and padding of Shopify images. Position is available from the toolbar in the Shopify Products editor.
Availability
Photoroom for Shopify must be connected to your Shopify store.
Publishing to Shopify requires a Max or Ultra subscription.
Steps (Android)
To change the positioning and padding of Shopify images:
Select Position.
Swipe the toolbar if you can't see the Position option.
Select one of the tabs at the bottom:
Original
Reset to the original positioning. Continue from step 8.
Center
Position the image centrally on the canvas.
Custom
Choose Custom to set your own positioning and padding.
Use Ignore padding on cropped sides to control when padding is used:
On
If the image touches the sides of the canvas, any padding is ignored.
Off
Padding is always applied, even if the image touches the sides of the canvas.
Use the box around your image to increase or decrease the amount of padding. Drag-and-drop the sides to change the amount.
If you chose Custom, use the Align options to position the object in your image on the canvas. There are various options to choose from, such as Top left, Center, Bottom center, Bottom right and more.
If you chose Custom, use the Scale options to control the size of the object.
Fit
Fits the image on the canvas without cropping.
Fill
Fills the space, but may crop the image.
Select the checkmark symbol to apply your chosen padding and alignment.
[Optional] Make additional changes using the Shopify Products editor.
When you have finished editing, publish your changes to Shopify.
Tip: If the product appears misaligned, try turning Ignore padding on cropped sides off.
