Use Photoroom's Shopify Products editor to change the background of your product images. You can set to the background of the images to:
A single color
An image that you upload
An AI-generated image.
The background you choose will apply to all of the images for the selected product.
Availability
Photoroom for Shopify must be connected to your Shopify store
Publishing to Shopify requires a Max or Ultra subscription.
AI Backgrounds consume AI credits.
Steps: AI Backgrounds (Android)
Use AI Backgrounds to generate backgrounds that complement your product’s colors and lighting.
Select Background.
Select AI Backgrounds.
Use the AI Background settings to choose the AI model and the type of background you want.

Select the arrow button to generate.
[Optional] Change the prompt or Background settings and generate more images.
When you are happy with a result, select it.
Use Batch consistency to apply the image more consistently across the product images.

Select Apply to batch.
Photoroom applies the background to all of the images for the product listing.
[Optional] Make additional changes using the Shopify Products editor.
When you have finished editing, publish your changes to Shopify.
Steps: Color backgrounds (Android)
Use a single color background for clean, minimalist product images that highlight your product and maintain brand consistency.
Select Background.
Select one of:
Transparent, white, or black from the palette
Color wheel to choose a different color.
If you selected the color wheel, use the color palettes or hex code field to choose a color. For more information, see Color selectors (Android).
Select Done to apply the color.
[Optional] Make additional changes using the Shopify Products editor.
When you have finished editing, publish your changes to Shopify.
Steps: Image backgrounds (Android)
Use the Image option in Background to replace the background with a custom or stock image:
Select Background.
Select Image.
Upload an image, generate a new image using one of Photoroom's AI tools, or choose a pre-made image from our library.

Photoroom applies the image to your Shopify product images.
[Optional] Make additional changes using the Shopify Products editor.
When you have finished editing, publish your changes to Shopify.
