When you're editing a batch of images, you can duplicate a layer on an image. This can be especially useful when you want multiple text layers, all with the same styling. Instead of creating and styling each one, style one layer, duplicate it, and change the text in the copy.
Similarly, you can duplicate other types of layers to create multiple versions on the same image.
Note: You cannot duplicate or copy a single layer and use it on a different image. But you can copy and paste all recent edits or use Apply to all.
Steps (Web App)
To duplicate a layer on a batch image:
Either insert a new layer, such as a text layer, or select an existing one. For instructions, see Add graphics, text, and shapes to a batch of images (Web App).
On the layer's pill menu, select the More actions ( ... ) option.
Select Duplicate.
Photoroom makes a copy of the selected layer and adds the copy to the image. The copy is placed near the original or directly on top of it. If you cannot see the copy, drag the layer to move it.
[Optional] To apply all of the changes to other images in the batch, use Apply to all or Copy/Paste edits.
For more details, see:[Optional] Use the editor to make further changes, such as adding text, graphics, or shapes.
