Change the perspective of a layer (Web App)

How to change the vertical perspective and horizontal perspective of a layer using the Batch editor. Web App.

Written by Craig Wright

Use the Perspective feature to tilt a layer horizontally, vertically, or in both directions. It can help you create a sense of depth in an image and can make products and text more eye-catching. For example, the images below show the text layer flat, angled with horizontal perspective and angled with vertical perspective.

3 images showing a shoe with the text "sale" behind it. The text is angled differently in each image to show different perspectives.

Perspective is available for:

  • Text layers

  • Image layers (cutout, graphic, logo)

It is not available for shapes or other types of layer.

Steps (Web App)

To change the perspective of a layer in a Batch image:

  1. Create a batch or use the batch you are editing.

  2. Select a layer on an image.

  3. Select the more actions icon ( ... ) on the layer's pill menu.

  4. Select Perspective.

  5. Use the Perspective settings to change the layer:

    • Horizontal perspective:
Angles the layer to the left or right, as if it’s turning away from you. One side gets smaller and the other gets larger.

    • Vertical perspective:
Angles the layer toward or away from you, top to bottom. The top or bottom edge gets narrower.

  6. [Optional] Use the Batch Editor to make further changes, such as adding text layers or generating AI images. For details, see How to edit a batch of images - workflow (Web App).

  7. When you have finished editing, download your batch images.
