Photoroom makes it easy to apply a white background to your images. Here, we summarise the different ways to do it and provide links to the more detailed instructions.

Batch Mode

If you are on the Pro plan, the easiest way to apply a white background to multiple images is to use Batch Mode. There, you can create a batch (a collection of images) and apply the White template to them all at once (see Edit multiple photos at once in Batch Mode).

White template

Photoroom has templates that you can apply to new designs (on iPhone, iPad, and Android) and to both new and existing designs on the Web App. The Classics collection has a White template for you to use.

On iPhone, iPad, and Android, create a new design. When Photoroom imports your image, select the White template.

If you edit the image and want to change the template, select the back button and then choose from the list of templates.

White background color

You can set a background layer to use any color, including white.

  1. Edit your design and select the Background layer.

  2. Select Change background (this step only applies to iPhone, iPad, and Android)..

  3. Select Color (this step only applies to iPhone, iPad, and Android).

  4. Select white as the color.
