Create any image with Photoroom AI

Learn how to use the "Create any image" feature to turn text descriptions into impressive AI-generated designs

Photoroom's Create any image feature lets you create an image based on a text description (prompt). Just describe the image you want Photoroom to create and the AI will generate images to match.

On iPhone and iPad

To use Create any image to make an AI-generated image:

  1. Select Content.

  2. Select the workspace you want to work in.

  3. Select AI Tools.

  4. Select the See more link, for example, See 27 more.

  5. Select Create any image.

  6. Use Size to choose the size and orientation of your design.

  7. Use Style to choose the type of image you want the AI to create. There are options for various styles, including Hyper-Realistic Rendering for photo-realistic images.

  8. Enter a Description of the image you want the AI to create.

    For best results, include any important information, for example: what you want the main object to look like, what sort of background you want, and lighting effects.

  9. Select the purple and white arrow button to start the AI generation. Photoroom will generate 4 images. If you want more images, select the arrow button again.

  10. Select an image that you like.

  11. [Optional] Use Remove background to toggle the background on and off.

  12. [Optional] To make alterations, select Change something. Use the options to make changes:

    1. Generate 4 variations to get the AI to create 4 more versions of the image.

    2. Retouch to erase part of the image or add something to the image with a prompt. To learn how to use the Retouch tool, see Remove part of an AI image with Retouch.

    3. Describe a change to make a new text prompt to alter the image. You only need to describe the alterations you want. The AI already knows the prompt that was used to create the image.

  13. Select Use image when you are happy with the image. Photoroom opens the image as a design in the editor.

  14. [Optional] Use the editor settings to make further changes, such as add text and graphics.

  15. [Optional] Select Export to save your design as an image file on your device. You can also use the export settings to share your design.

  16. Select X to save your design and exit the editor.


On Android

To use Create any image to make an AI-generated image:

  1. Select Content.

  2. Select the workspace you want to work in.

  3. Select AI Tools.

  4. Select the See more link, for example, See 27 more.

  5. Select Create any image.

  6. Use Size to choose the size and orientation of your design.

On Web App

To use Create any image to make an AI-generated image:

  1. Select the workspace you want to work in.

  2. Select AI Tools.

  3. Select Create any image.

    Note: If you don't see Create any image, select the See all button to display a list of all AI tools.

  4. Use Size to choose the size and orientation of your design.

  5. Use Style to choose the type of image you want the AI to create. There are options for various styles, including Hyper-Realistic Rendering for photo-realistic images.

  6. Enter a Description of the image you want the AI to create.

    For best results, include any important information, for example: what you want the main object to look like, what sort of background you want, and lighting effects.

  7. Select Generate. Photoroom will generate 4 images. If you want more images, select Generate again.

  8. Select an image that you like.

  9. [Optional] Use Remove background to toggle the background on and off.

  10. [Optional] Use Generate 4 variations to get the AI to create 4 more versions of the image.

  11. [Optional] Use Change something to to make a new text prompt to alter the image.

    You only need to describe the alterations you want. The AI already knows the prompt that was used to create the image.

  12. [Optional] Use Retouch to erase part of the image or add something to the image with a prompt. To learn how to use the Retouch tool, see Remove part of an AI image with Retouch.

  13. [Optional] Use Resize to change the size of the image.

    Choose from one of the preset sizes or enter a custom size.

  14. Select Use image when you are happy with the image. Photoroom opens the image as a design in the editor.

  15. [Optional] Use the editor settings to make further changes, such as add text and graphics.

  16. [Optional] Select Download to save your design as an image file on your device. Enter a filename, choose a file type, and select Download.

  17. Select Home to save your design and exit the editor.
