Use Ghost Mannequin to turn a clothing photo into an image showing the garment on an invisible mannequin.

This article covers step-by-step instructions for using the standalone Ghost Mannequin tool on the Web App. For information on how the tool works and what each setting offers, see How to use Ghost Mannequin.

Steps (Web App)

To create an image that shows clothes on an invisible ghost mannequin:

Stage 1: Add your clothing photo

  1. Select the Space you want to work in.

  2. Select AI tools.

  3. Select Ghost Mannequin.

    If you can't see the Ghost Mannequin option, select See all for the full list of AI tools.

  4. Use the Drop files or select images box to upload or choose a source image. Select Add image(s) to confirm. For details, see How to add images for AI tools (Web App).


Stage 2: Choose your settings and generate

  1. Set up your image using the settings: Quality, Size (aspect ratio), Brand style, and Prompt. For details on each setting, see How to use Ghost Mannequin.

  2. Select Generate. Each generation uses AI credits.

  3. [Optional] To try alternatives, change any setting and select Generate again.

To create more variations from a generated image, select its context menu and use the Variation or Edit with AI options.

Stage 3: Review, edit, and save

  1. Select a generated image to open the review and edit screen.

  2. Review the result, make any final changes, or open it in the main editor for manual edits such as adding text, graphics, or a background.

  3. When you are happy with the image, save it.

You can now use your saved file in other applications. Your design is available in the Space's Designs in Photoroom.
