Create a video from a design (Android)

Learn how to create a short video from one of your designs. Android.

Bring your designs to life by transforming them into short, dynamic videos. You can add camera movement and/or describe a scene with a prompt. In the example below, we used a static design showing a side view of a woman wearing a tracksuit. From that, we created a video that shows the camera panning around the woman.

Note: The Video generator feature is currently in Beta. It will continue to evolve and improve over time.

Availability

Max and Ultra plan only.

Requires AI video credits.


On Android

To create a video from an existing design:

  1. Select the Space you want to work in. The Space must have a Max or Ultra subscription as video is unavailable on lower plans.

  2. Select Content.

  3. Select the context menu ( ... ) for the design you want to export as a video.

  4. Select Create video.

  5. Choose an animation for the camera movement (cinematography).

    There are several to choose from, including 360 rotation, focus, and glide. The menu shows an animated preview of each animation style.

  6. Choose the dimensions for the video:

    • Square

    • Portrait (3:4)

    • Portrait (9:16)

    • Landscape (4:3)

    • Landscape (16:9)

  7. [Optional] Use the prompt field to add a text description of the video. Use it to describe what you want to see, the type of lighting, the background, whether a person is smiling or serious, etc.

  8. Select the arrow button to generate the animation.

    Note: Video generation costs AI credits.

  9. Wait for Photoroom to generate the animation. It can take a few minutes. When it is finished, the video will appear.

  10. Select the video's context menu.

  11. Either:

    1. Select Save to gallery to save the video to your device's photo gallery.

    2. Select Delete to remove the video.

  12. [Optional] Use the video settings and arrow button to make changes and generate variations of the video. Each generation will cost more AI credits.

  13. Select the back arrow to exit the video generator.

To use the video in other applications, download it from your device’s photo gallery. The video is also saved in the Space where it was created.
