You can turn an existing design into a short animated video using Photoroom’s Video Generator. This converts your design into a short animated video, ideal for social media posts, product demos, and marketing visuals.

Steps (Android)
To create a video from an existing design:
(Video is edited to show reduced AI video generation time).
Select the Max or Ultra Space you want to work in.
Select Content.
Select the context menu ( ... ) for the design you want to export as a video.
Select Create video.
Choose an option:
Select a template to start with preset layouts, models, and camera directions. For best results, choose a template from the automatically selected category.
Select Skip template to create a video from scratch, using only a prompt.
[Optional] Use the prompt field to add a text description of the video. Describe what you want to see, the type of lighting, the background, whether a person is smiling or serious, etc.
Choose the dimensions for the video:
Landscape (16:9)
Portrait (9:16)
Square (1:1)
Select Generate video.
Note: Video generation costs AI credits.
Wait for Photoroom to generate the animation. It can take a few minutes. When it is finished, the video will appear.
Select Save to save the video to your device's photo gallery.
Tip: The video's context menu ( ... ) has options for saving and deleting videos.
[Optional] Use the video settings, prompt, and arrow button to make changes and generate variations of the video. Each generation will cost more AI credits.
Select the back arrow to exit the Video Generator.
To use the video in other applications, download it from your device's photo gallery. The video is also stored in a folder for the Space in Photoroom.
Troubleshooting
If you are having problems creating a suitable video, try:
Not using a template (select Skip template instead) and then use the prompt to describe what you want. For tips, see Write more effective prompts for AI.
Using a template only or a prompt only, but not the two combined.
Note: The Video Generator will continue to evolve and improve over time.
