What is Retouch?

Learn about the Retouch feature and how you can use it to remove a specific area of an image. You can also use it to add objects to an image.

Photoroom's Retouch lets you:

  • Erase a selected part of an image

  • Add an object to a specified area of an image*

  • Change a specified area of an image*

* Add and change are only available on iOS and Android.

When you use Retouch, Photoroom changes the image and blends the background to keep it looking realistic. For example, in the image below, Retouch has been used to remove the water bottle and blend the background to make it look as if the bottle was never there.
