When you create a design, you start with a single image. Using the Insert feature, you can add additional images, each placed on its own layer for easy editing. You can also place layers in front of other layers or behind them.
Of course, images are not the only type of content you can add to a design. You can also add text and graphics.
Note: In this article, we explain how to add multiple images to a design on the Android version of Photoroom. If you're using the iOS or Web App version, see:
On Android
To add multiple images to a design:
Select the Space you want to work in.
Select Content.
Select the design you want to edit.
Note: Alternatively, you can create a new design, apply a template, and then work with that design.
Select Insert.
Choose the image to add to the design. Either:
Choose a photo from your device's Gallery.
Use your device's Camera to take a new photo.
Choose an image file from your Files.
Generate an image with AI.
Note: If you use Generate an image with AI, choose an AI Tool and use it to create an image. When you have an image you are happy with, select Use this image.
Position the image on your design. Photoroom adds the image as a new layer.
Repeat steps 4-6 inclusive to add more images.
[Optional] Use the layer settings to style the added image layers, for example, adjust brightness or transparency.
[Optional] Use the editor settings to make additional changes, such as add text or graphics.
Select Export. Your design is downloaded to your device and saved in Photoroom.
Select Done.
