Add images to a product listing (Web App)

How to add additional images to a product listing in your Product catalog. Web App.

There are several ways to use the Photoroom Product catalog to add images to a product listing:

  • Use the Add images option and upload an image or select an image that already exists elsewhere in Photoroom

  • Use AI Shot List in the Shopify sidebar to generate new images

  • Use AI Tools in the side menu to generate new images

  • Use the Add to product option on a regular design.

Steps (Web App)

To use Add images to add extra images to a product listing:

  1. Open your Product catalog and double-click the product you want to edit.

  2. Select Add images.

  3. Use one of the tabs to find and add an image:
    ​

    • All:
      Use the All tab to upload a new image file or choose one or more images across all categories.
      ​

    • Uploads:
      Use the Uploads tab to upload a new image file or choose one or more images that have already been uploaded.
      ​

    • Shopify products:
      Use the Shopify products tab to add an image that has already been added to a different product listing. Select the product listing and choose the image. You can also use the Search to find product images by name.
      ​

    • AI images:
      Use the AI images tab to choose one or more AI-generated images. These are all images that have been generated in the Space using Photoroom's AI tools. Use the filter buttons at the top to filter by AI tool.

    • Designs:
      Use the Designs tab to choose one or more images that are saved as designs in the Space.
      ​

    • Google Drive:
      Use the Google Drive tab to choose an image from your Google Drive.
      ​
      To make your Google Drive available to Photoroom, select Connect to Google Drive and then follow the on-screen instructions.
      ​

    • Dropbox:
      Use the Dropbox tab to choose an image from Dropbox.
      ​
      To make your Dropbox account available to Photoroom, select Connect to Dropbox and then follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. Select Add images.
    Photoroom adds the images to your product listing.
    ​

  5. [Optional] Use the Product editor to make additional changes, such as adding text or graphics.
    ​

  6. [Optional] Generate SEO-optimized file names and alt text for the new image.
    ​

  7. When you have finished editing, publish your changes.
