Your Product Catalog includes an Assets area where you can store images for reuse. These images can be used when editing product photos but don’t need to be included in your product listings.
This is especially useful for generating AI images. You can store supporting images in Assets that appear in the final image but aren’t products you sell.
Example
Let's say you sell t-shirts and want to create Virtual Model images showing a model wearing your products with jeans.
You:
Create a new product listing and add your t-shirt photo.
Use the Add images feature to upload an image of jeans to your Assets.
Use the Add images feature to generate a Virtual Model image. In the settings, choose:
T-shirt image, available automatically from your product listing
Jeans image, from Assets
A model, size, background, and pose.
After generating the Virtual Model image, you add it to your product listing. The jeans image remains in Assets but is not part of the listing.
Note: The Assets area is shared across all products in the Product Catalog. You and your team can reuse the same images for different product listings.
