Your Product Catalog includes an Assets area where you can store images for reuse. These are images you may want to use when editing product photos, but not necessarily include in your product listings.

To learn how to add images to your Assets area, see the steps below. For more general information about the Assets area, see Product Catalog Assets (Web App).

Steps (Web App)

To add an image to your Product Catalog Assets area:

(Video edited to show faster AI image generation time).

  1. Select Add images.

  2. Select Assets.

  3. Select the Drop a file box at the top.

  4. Choose an image to upload.

Photoroom adds the image to the All assets category.

  5. Either:

    • Select Add to listing.

The image you uploaded is available in your Assets and is also added to the product listing.

    • Select X to close the toolbar.

The image is available in your Assets but is not added to a product listing. Use this option when you want to use the image for generating other images, but you don't want it to appear in your store.

In the video, we included an example of an image of jeans being uploaded to the Assets. The jeans are then used with a t-shirt product image to generate a Virtual Model image. The Virtual Model image is added to the product listing.
