By using the Batch feature, you can change the background of multiple images at once. Choose from:
AI Backgrounds
Single color backgrounds
Regular images

Batch is available on all paid plans (Pro, Max, Ultra).
Steps: AI Background for a batch (Web App)
You can use Photoroom's AI to generate background images for your batch. The images will have a similar look and feel, but won't be exactly the same. This is because the AI adapts each background to suit the colors and lighting in each individual image.
Select the images you want to edit.

Select Background.
Make sure Remove original backgrounds is on.
Select AI.
Select the AI Model you want to use. Studio is the newest model and often produces better results, but it uses more AI credits than v3 and v2.
Either:
Enter a description in the prompt field.
Select Background and pick a theme from the available categories.
Search for an image on Unsplash (v3 and v2 only).
Select Background and then Start with and Upload your own image.
Select Background and then Start with and choose one of your Recent AI Backgrounds.
Select the arrow button to generate.
Select the image you want to use and confirm you want to apply it to your batch. Applying the image will cost AI credits.
Note: The Search and Upload features for AI Backgrounds are for providing images that influence the AI. It doesn't use the images as they are, rather as inspiration for the type of image to generate.
Steps: Image as background for a batch (Web App)
To use a regular static image as the background for a batch of images:
Select the images you want to edit.

Select Background.
Select Image.
Make sure Remove original backgrounds is on.
Select Choose an image.
Either:
Select Start with and upload an image or choose a recommended image.
Choose a background from one of the categories, such as Wood, Marble, and Concrete.
Use Search to look for images on Unsplash or Pixabay.
Select the image you want.
Use the image settings to make changes:
Adjust - Use to change the background's properties, such as brightness, contrast, and opacity.
Blur - Use to soften the background. There are different styles of blur effect to choose from.
Filter - Use to apply a filter effect to the background. There are different styles to choose from.
Steps: Color as background for a batch (Web App)
You can use a single color as the background for images in a batch:
Select Background.
Select the images you want to edit.

Select Color.
Make sure Remove original backgrounds is on.
Either:
Select a color from the palettes (Standard, Neutral tones, Soft pastels, etc.)
Select the eyedropper (pipette) icon and select a color from anywhere on the screen.
Select the color wheel and use the color selector to pick a color. Either:
Select a color from the color range. Use the slider to change the colors shown.
Choose Hex, RGB, or HSL and then enter a color value in the field.
Select Apply this color.
