Quick guide to the Batch Editor UI (iOS)

An overview of the Batch Editor and the other editing screens you can use to edit multiple images at once. iOS.

This article gives an overview of the Batch Editor on iOS and explains how to edit:

  • Multiple images at once

  • Individual images in the main Photoroom editor

If you're new to the Batch Editor, understanding these two editing methods will help you work more efficiently.

Batch Mode Editor (iOS)

When you first create a batch of images, they are displayed in the Batch Mode editor. It shows the images in a grid and there are editing features available at the bottom.

Use the Batch Editor features to make changes to all of the batch images at once. There are features for:

For more detailed edits, such as adding text or adjusting lighting and blur, edit images individually in the main editor (see below).


Editing Batch images in the main Photoroom editor (iOS)

If you select an image in a batch, it opens in the main Photoroom editor. Alternatively, long-press on an image and select Edit.

The main Photoroom editor has options for adding text and graphics, changing the layer order, and you can use the layer settings too. The layer settings have a variety of options including brightness, saturation, and filter effects.

When you finish editing, select X to return to the Batch Editor or use the next and previous arrows to edit the batch images in sequence. When you exit the editor, you’ll then be asked whether to apply your changes to all images or only the edited image. For more information, see How does "Apply recent edits to all" work?
