Position, flip, and rotate a batch of images (Web App)

How to use the Layout options to flip, rotate, resize, reposition, and align a layer. Web App.

Each foreground layer on a batch image has Layout options that you can use to:

  • Change the position of a layer

  • Change the size of a layer

  • Rotate a layer

  • Flip a layer vertically or horizontally

  • Align a layer.

The Layout options are especially useful when you need precise positioning.

Steps (Web App)

To reposition, resize, flip, rotate, and/or align a layer:

  1. Create a batch.

  2. Select a foreground layer on the batch image you want to edit.

  3. Select the More actions option ( ... ) and then Layout.

  4. Use the layout settings to change the layer:
    ​

    • X and Y
      Use to change the horizontal (X) and vertical (Y) positioning of the layer. You can drag the layer or use the value fields for precise positioning.
      ​

    • Width and Height
      Use to change the width and height of the layer. You can use the handles on the layer to resize it or use the value fields for precise sizing.
      ​

    • Rotate
      Use to rotate the layer around its center. You can position the cursor by a corner handle and free-rotate the layer or enter the rotation in degrees in the Rotate field.
      ​

    • Flip 90°
      Use to rotate the layer 90° on each click of this icon.

    • Flip Horizontal, Flip Vertical
      Use the flip icons in the Layout settings to get a mirrored version of the layer. Flip Horizontal mirrors the layer left to right. Flip Vertical mirrors it top to bottom

    • Align to image
      Use the left set of icons to align the layer left, center, or right. Use the right set of icons to align the image top, middle, or bottom.

  5. Click on another layer when you have finished editing the layout.

  6. [Optional] To apply the same layout to other images in the batch, use Apply to all or Copy/Paste edits.

  7. [Optional] Use the editor to make further changes, such as add text, graphics, or shapes.

  8. Download your batch images.

Troubleshooting

If you make a change to the layout and then click away to deselect the layer, your changes can fail to save. To avoid this happening, click another layer before you click away to deselect.
