The Brand Style is a shared text description of your brand. It works by acting as an overall brand description that applies to AI prompts in addition to any other settings that are set for that feature.
How it helps:
It gives a single, consistent brand description that can be applied to every prompt
It reduces editing time, as users don't need to enter the brand information in each of their prompts
It helps the AI generate more consistent, on-brand images.
Stage 1: Set the Brand Style text
You can edit the Brand Style text:
In the Brand Library, in the Brand info settings. It is called Brand style on the web and Tell us more on iOS and Android.
In the AI Tool settings when you turn Brand style on. This only applies to the AI tools that support the Brand style feature.
Important: If you change the Brand Style text, the change applies to the Brand Style text everywhere in the Space. For example, if you change it in an AI tool, the text automatically changes in the other AI tools and in the Brand Library too.
Tips on writing Brand Style text
When writing the Brand Style text, we recommend you:
Include what the brand sells, who it's for, and the overall look.
Use aesthetic words such as "clean, bright, modern", and describe the mood, lighting, colour palette, materials, photography style.
Describe what the AI should avoid, such as "no dark backgrounds" and "no heavy shadows".
Keep the Brand Style text short.
The Brand Style is designed to influence the AI, not restrict it by setting too many rules.
Do not include information about one specific product.
The Brand Style should be general so that it can be used for different types of product across the Space.
Leave out anything that is already made possible through the AI tool's settings, such as size, pose, and scene.
For details, see:
Stage 2: Choose whether to apply the Brand Style
When you use selected AI Tools to generate images, you can control whether the Brand Style influences the AI.
Use an AI Tool that supports Brand style, such as Product Beautifier, Product Staging, or AI Fashion Models.
In the AI Tool settings, turn Brand style on to let the Brand Style influence the AI. Turn if off to disable the Brand Style's influence.
For step-by-step instructions, see the articles about each AI Tool in the Related content section at the end.
Example of Brand Style in use
Let's say that you open the Brand Libraray for your Space and set your Brand Style text to:
Dark, moody, night life setting.
You then use an AI tool, upload an image of a dress, and turn the Brand style setting on. When you select Generate, Photoroom sends this information to the AI:
The Brand Style text (Dark, moody, night life setting)
The settings you choose for the AI tool
Any prompt you added for the AI tool.
Result:
The dress is shown being worn by a model in a dark, moody, night life setting. The Brand Style text influenced the prompt without you having to add that detail manually.
You do the same again, only this time you set the Brand style to Off. When you select Generate, Photoroom sends this information to the AI:
The settings you choose for the AI tool
Any prompt you added for the AI tool.
Result:
The dress is shown being worn by a model in light, minimalist surroundings. The AI no longer has any guidance from the Brand style text, and so defaults to a brighter look that is more common for e-commerce product images.
By setting up appropriate Brand Style text, you can help make sure that every AI image generated in the Space has a consistent look. All you and your team need to do is turn Brand style on when using the AI tools.
