Upgrade a Space (Web App)

Learn how to upgrade a Space on the Web App version of Photoroom.

You can upgrade any Space to access more features, AI credits, and batch exports. Upgrading only takes a few minutes, and your new plan is available as soon as your payment is confirmed.

Note: This article covers upgrading a Space to Pro and Max on the Web App version of Photoroom. For instructions on upgrading to Ultra, see Upgrade to Ultra.


Steps (Web App)

To upgrade the subscription for a Space:

  1. Log in at app.photoroom.com.

    You need to log in as the Admin user for the Space that you want to upgrade.

  2. Select the Space you want to upgrade.

  3. Select Manage Space.

  4. Select Billing and look at the plan that is currently in place.

    If the subscription is managed through the App Store or Play Store, you will need to cancel it separately later in the process.

  5. Select Upgrade on the Billing screen or in the the sidebar.

  6. Select your upgrade preferences, for example, the billing period.

  7. Select Continue.

    Photoroom displays the Stripe payment system. You can learn more about Stripe at stripe.com.

    Note: If there is a free trial period on offer, select Start your free trial instead. The subscription will start at the end of the free trial unless you cancel.

  8. Enter your payment details in Stripe and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your subscription.

    Note that this creates a new web subscription:

    • The upgrade is available as soon as your payment has cleared.

    • You pay a reduced price. It is calculated as:

      Full price of new plan - unused portion of your current plan (prorated) = price.

    • When the new plan is due for renewal, you will pay the full price for the new plan.

  9. Important. If the Space has a mobile subscription (see step 4), cancel it.

    You need to cancel the App Store or Play Store subscription to avoid being charged twice. For instructions, see Cancel your subscription.
