On the Web App, you can upgrade any Space where you’re the Admin:

  • Personal Space
The first Space in your Photoroom account.

  • Team Spaces
    Any additional Spaces you’ve created.

For instructions, see below.

On Web App

To upgrade the subscription for a Space:

  1. Log in at app.photoroom.com.

You need to log in as the Admin user for the Space that you want to upgrade.

Each Space has an Admin user and they are the only person who can upgrade the Space's subscription. To learn how to set a user as the Admin, see Change a user's role in a team.

  2. Select the Space you want to upgrade.

Close-up of top section of sidebar. The Team menu is highlighted.

  3. Select the Upgrade button in the sidebar.

Close-up of lower part of sidebar. The Upgrade button is highlighted.

Note: As an alternative to step 3, you can:

    1. Select Manage Space.

    2. Select Billing for the Space.

    3. Select Change plan.

  4. Select your upgrade preferences. For example, if you upgrade from Pro to Max, you can choose to pay Yearly or Monthly.

Upgrade to Max screen has options for choosing the payment plan and starting a free trial.

  5. Select the option to start the free trial or subscription. The free trial is only available the first time you upgrade.

Photoroom displays the Stripe payment system. You can learn more about Stripe at stripe.com.

  6. Enter your payment details in Stripe and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your subscription.

When you upgrade on the Web App:

  • The upgrade is available as soon as your payment has cleared.

  • You pay a reduced price. It is calculated as:

Full price of new plan - unused portion of your current plan (prorated) = price.

  • When the new plan is due for renewal, you will pay the full price for the new plan.

If you have upgraded and you cannot access the features of your new plan, see Unable to access subscription features.
