You can upgrade any Space to access more features, AI credits, and batch exports. Upgrading only takes a few minutes, and your new plan is available as soon as your payment is confirmed.
Note: This article covers upgrading a Space to Pro and Max on the Android version of Photoroom. For instructions on upgrading to Ultra, see Upgrade to Ultra.
Before you start
For this article, we assume that you want to upgrade an existing subscription using the same Play Store account that you used previously.
To use a different Play Store account to pay for an upgrade, see Paying from a different store account.
Steps (Android)
To upgrade a Space:
Make sure your Android device is currently using the Google account that you used to pay for the existing subscription.
Run Photoroom and log in.
You need to log in as the Admin user for the Space that you want to upgrade.
To learn how to set a user as the Admin, see Change a user's role in a team.
Select the Space you want to upgrade.
Select the plan badge in the top corner, for example, Get Pro.
Photoroom displays the "paywall" screen.
Use the options on the paywall screen to choose your plan, payment schedule, and complete your upgrade through Google Play.
Important: In some marginal cases, upgrading on mobile is not technically possible. In these cases, select Send email. We'll send you an email with a link you can use to upgrade. You can also find the instructions in the Upgrade a Space (Web App) article.
When you upgrade on Android:
The upgrade is available as soon as your payment has cleared.
You pay a reduced price. It is calculated as:
Full price of new plan - unused portion of your current plan (prorated) = price.
When the new plan is due for renewal, you will pay the full subscription price.
You can login to Photoroom on mobile and the Web App.
If you have upgraded and you cannot access the features of your new plan, see Unable to access subscription features.
