Add depth and realism to your images, making products appear more natural and visually appealing in your store.

Image shows 3 product catalog images. Each product has a different shadow style.

Note: This article assumes you have already connected Photoroom to your Shopify store.

Steps (iOS)

To apply AI Shadows to Product Catalog images:

  1. Open your Product Catalog and select the product you want to edit.

  2. Select any of the product listing images.
    Photoroom opens the images in the Product Catalog Editor.
    ​​

  3. Select AI Shadows.

  4. Choose a shadow style:
    ​

    • None - No shadow.

    • Soft - Subtle shadow around the product.

    • Hard - Strong shadow around the product.

    • Floating - Shadow below the product for a floating effect.
      ​

  5. Select the checkmark icon.

  6. Select Apply to batch. Each AI Shadow uses AI Credits.
    ​
    Photoroom applies the AI Shadow effect to every image in the product listing.
    ​

  7. [Optional] Make additional changes using the Product Catalog Editor.

  8. When you have finished editing, publish your changes to Shopify.
