Written by Craig Wright

Photoroom's AI Fashion Models comes with a variety of pre-made models to choose from or you can upload your own model instead.

Use the Custom option to upload your own model for AI Fashion Models.

Using a custom model means you can:

  • Keep your visuals aligned with your brand identity

  • Target specific audiences with more relevant imagery

  • Reuse the same model across multiple campaigns.

Availability

  • You can use a custom model with AI Fashion Models on the Pro, Max, and Ultra plans.

  • Requires AI credits.

The number of custom models depends on your Space’s subscription:

  • Pro: 1 custom model

  • Max: 3 custom models

  • Ultra: Unlimited

If you reach your limit on Pro or Max, delete an existing model before adding a new one.

Steps

To use a custom model, use the Model setting. Here, we include a video showing how it is done on iOS, but the same principles apply on Android and the Web App.

  1. Access the AI Fashion Models tool on your device.
For details, see the articles listed in the Related content section at the end.

  2. Upload or choose a clothing image.

  3. Select the Model setting.

  4. Select + Custom.

  5. Upload a photo of the model you want to use.

Important! You must own the copyright to the photos you upload and have the permission of the people in the photos (unless they are free for commercial use).

  6. Enter a name for the model and select Save.

Your custom model is now saved in the list of AI Fashion Models. You can choose it from the list in the same way as the pre-made AI Fashion Models.

Your custom model is also saved in the Models category in the Brand Kit for the Space.
