Create short promotional videos with Photoroom's Video Generator. This tool uses AI to generate a video based on up to 4 source images. It's ideal for social media posts, product demos, and marketing visuals.
How it works:
You provide up to 4 reference images to use as a starting point. You can upload them or choose images that already exist in Photoroom.
You use the Video Generator settings to set your preferences.
Photoroom generates a short video based on the source images and the chosen settings.
You can then download the video to use in other applications.

Ways to access Video Generator
Video Generator is available:
As a standalone tool (from AI tools)
From the Generate video option on the context menu for designs and images generated by AI tools
From the Video option on the Review and edit screen, which is the last stage of editing when using the standalone AI tools
From the export screen (Android only).
Settings for Video Generator
When you access the Video Generator tool, use the following settings to guide Photoroom.
Reference images
Template
Aspect ratio
Prompt.
We describe each of these settings in the sections below.
Reference images
Video Generator needs at least one reference image to work from. For added product accuracy (fidelity), you can use up to 4 images, each showing the product from a different angle. This helps Photoroom to create a video that is a better representation of your product.
You are either prompted to add images or you can select an existing reference image and then add more.
When adding images you can:
Upload a photo
Select from recent uploads or AI generated images
Choose an image that already exists in Photoroom
Take a photo and upload it (mobile only)
Use an AI tool to generate an image (mobile only).

Template
Photoroom has templates that control the motion shown in the video. There are many pre-made templates available, all organized into categories.
When you choose a template, select an appropriate category, view the previews, and select the template that best matches the motion you want.
To change to a different template, select the template in the settings and then make another choice.
Aspect ratio
This is sometimes labeled as Size. Use it to set the aspect ratio (shape) of the video. This setting works in the same way as aspect ratio for images. For more information, see Set the Aspect Ratio of AI images.
Prompt
Use the prompt field to describe what you want (and don't want) to see in your video. You can describe color schemes, mood, lighting, shadows, anything to help the AI understand what you're trying to achieve.

After generating a video
When you have generated a video you are happy with, you can Save it to your device. You can then use the video file in other applications.
