Use the Crop feature to trim a foreground layer so that it only shows the parts you want to use. It works by giving you a crop box, which you place over the area you want to show. Everything outside the box (on that layer) is hidden. For example, in the image below, the layer is cropped so that it displays one shoe rather than two. After cropping, the layer was moved into the center of the canvas.
Steps (Web App)
To crop a layer in a batch of images:
Select a foreground layer on the batch image you want to edit.
Select the Crop icon on the layer's pill menu.
Drag and resize the crop box over the area of the layer you want to show. Everything outside the box on that layer will be hidden when you crop.
Tip: To restore cropped areas, use Crop and extend the box over the hidden area.
Select the Crop icon again to confirm your selection and turn crop mode off.
Move and resize the cropped layer to a suitable position.
[Optional] To apply the same crop to other images in the batch, use Apply to all or Copy/Paste edits.
Note: Applying the same crop to other images works best when the layers are in similar positions in each image.
