Upgrade a Space

Learn how to upgrade a Space to access more features and enjoy higher AI credits and Batch export limits

Upgrading a Space’s subscription plan unlocks more AI credits, higher batch export limits, and—on some plans—additional features. These benefits apply to the entire Space, so everyone working in it can take advantage of them.

If you are the Admin for a Space, you can upgrade the Space subscription at any time. In this article, we explain how to upgrade on the different versions of Photoroom.

On iPhone and iPad

Note: Your Photoroom Space payment will be billed to the Apple ID that is currently logged in to your Apple device. If you want to be billed to a different Apple account, you will need to log in using that account before you subscribe.

To upgrade a Space on iPhone or iPad:

  1. Run the Photoroom app and log in.

  2. Select the Space that you want to upgrade.

  3. Select the plan label in the top corner.

  4. Select the tab for the plan you want.

    Pro tab. The Upgrade to Max option is highlighted.


  5. Choose a Weekly, Monthly or Yearly payment plan.

    Note: Weekly is only available when upgrading to Pro.

  6. Select Continue.

  7. Double-click to subscribe. The subscription will be charged to the Apple account that is associated with your Apple ID.


On Android

Note: Your Photoroom Space payment will be billed to the Google Play Store ID that is currently logged in to your Android device. If you want to be billed to a different Play Store account, you will need to log in using that account before you subscribe.

To upgrade a Space on Android:

  1. Run the Photoroom app and log in.

  2. Select the Space that you want to upgrade.

  3. Select the plan label in the top corner.

  4. Either:

    1. Select the Upgrade button on the tab for your current plan

    2. Select the tab for the plan you want.

      Pro tab. The Upgrade to Max option is highlighted.


  5. Choose a Weekly, Monthly or Yearly payment plan.

    Note: Weekly is only available when upgrading to Pro.

    Max tab. The Yearly plan option is highlighted.

  6. Select Continue.

  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe. The subscription will be charged to the Google account that is associated with your Play Store ID.


On Web App

To upgrade a Space on the Web App:

  1. Log in to Photoroom at app.photoroom.com.

  2. Select the Space that you want to upgrade.

  3. Select the Upgrade team option.

  4. Choose your preferred subscription period.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions for adding your payment details.
