You can use Save as a template to turn any image in your batch into a template that you can later use on other images. This can help reduce your editing time because you can create the design you want in one batch, save it as a template, and reuse it in other batches.

Steps (Web App)

To save an image in a batch as a template:

  1. Edit a batch image. Add layers and style them until the image has the design you want for your template.

To learn about adding and editing layers, see the articles listed in the Related content section at the end.

  2. Select the background of the image to display the image's pill menu.

  3. Select the More actions ( ... ) option and then Save as a template.

  4. Give the template a name and select Save template.

  5. [Optional] Use the editor to make further changes, such as adding text, graphics, or shapes.

  6. When you have finished with your batch, select Home.

To check which layers will be used or replaced when you apply your template:

  1. Select Templates.

  2. Hover the cursor over the template you created and select Edit template.

  3. Select a layer and check its Replaceable subject option:

    • If it is on, that layer is replaced by the main subject of the image when the template is used on other images.

    • If it is off, that layer is copied to other images when the template is applied.

  4. Select Home to exit the template editor.

The template that you created is saved in the Space's Templates. You can use it as a template for regular designs and also for other batches you create. For details, see:
