Save Batch images as Templates (Web App)

Learn how to save a Batch image as a template that you can reuse for other Batches and regular non-Batch designs. Web App.

You can now turn any Batch image into a template during the Batch editing process. This can help make Batch editing easier and quicker as it means:

  • You can apply the template to all of the images in the Batch

  • If you add extra images to the Batch, they will use the template by default

  • You can edit individual Batch images so that they use a different template or no template if you prefer.

  • The template is saved so that you can also use it with other Batches and regular, non-Batch designs too.

On Web App

To save a Batch image as a template:

  1. Select the Space you want to work in.

  2. Create a Batch:

    1. Select Batch.

    2. Upload individual images or a folder of images.

  3. Edit one of the images to make it suitable for a template:

    1. Position the cursor over an image to reveal its context menu ( ... )

    2. Select the context menu and then Edit.

    3. Use the editor to create the design you want. For example, in the video, we added shapes and a background color and rearranged the layers so that the product photo was at the front.

    4. Select Batch to return to the batch of images.

    5. Select X to close the notification about applying the changes to all images.

  4. Select the context menu ( ... ) for the image that you edited and then select Save as a template.

  5. Enter a suitable name for the template and then select Save template.

  6. To apply the template to all of the images in the Batch:

    1. Select Templates.

    2. Choose the template you want.

  7. [Optional] Edit individual images and use the notification to restrict the changes to one image or apply them to all of the images.

  8. Select Download images.

    1. Enter a name for the download file.

    2. Select the image file format.

    3. Select Download.

  9. Select Home to exit the Batch.

The template that you saved is stored in the Templates for the Space. You can use it as a template for regular designs and also for other Batches you create.
