Resize product images for Shopify (Web App)

How to change the size of one or more Product Catalog images. Web App.

Change image dimensions to meet store theme requirements or standardize your catalog for a professional look.

Note: This article assumes you have already connected Photoroom to your Shopify store.

Availability

  • Photoroom for Shopify is available on iOS and the Web App

  • Publishing, downloading, and exporting require Max or Ultra

  • Resize is a free utility. Does not require AI credits.

Steps (Web App)

To resize Product Catalog images:

  1. Open a product in your Product Catalog.

  2. Select the images you want to resize.

    To learn about selecting images, see How to select images using the Product Catalog editor.
    ​

  3. Select Resize.

  4. Choose a preset size or select Custom size and enter a Width and Height.
    ​
    Photoroom resizes the selected images.
    ​

  5. [Optional] Use the Background settings to replace the backgrounds.
    ​

    ​Note: If the original background does not fit the new image size, replace it.
    ​

  6. [Optional] Use the Position settings to change the alignment or padding.
    ​

  7. [Optional] Make additional changes using the Product Catalog Editor.

  8. When you have finished editing, publish your changes to Shopify.
